Skopelos · The view
The Restaurant with the Best View in Skopelos
Skopelos is generous with views, but very few of them come with a proper dinner. Minnŏ's terrace sits just above the old port, west-facing, so the sun sets straight into the harbour through the whole evening.
Why the view works
Minnŏ is set into the hillside above Skopelos Town's old harbour. The terrace opens west across the port — boats, whitewashed roofs, the mainland silhouette behind — with nothing between you and the horizon. From about 20:00 through 21:15 in summer, the light turns gold, then coral, then indigo. It's the best hour we know on the island.
How to get the best table
- Ask for a table on the outside edge of the terrace when you book.
- Arrive between 20:15 and 20:45 for the full sunset over a full meal.
- In August, book at least two or three days ahead — sunset tables go first.
- For a proposal or anniversary, tell us. We'll hold the quietest corner.
Not just a view
A view without a kitchen behind it is a common Skopelos trap. Minnŏ's menu is curated by chef Dimitris Charitidis: contemporary Greek cooking built on Aegean seafood and local Skopelos produce — lobster with baby gem and graviera cream, fish stifado, a quartet of horiatiki with handmade olive bread. The view is the setting; the food is the reason.
